It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Prof. John Sanders, who passed away at the age of 87 last Thursday.
He was a Life Member of the BAF and, to date, the youngest person to have become a Maître d’Armes of the BAF. Additionally he was the coach of Bill Hoskyns, and had been very active in the South West Region.
The BAF offers its deepest condolences to his family and widow, Jan. He will be missed dearly.
The funeral for John will be on Friday 3rd February at 11 am at Taunton Crematorium.
