The Academy is deeply saddened to hear of the death Trevor Cox following illness. A lifelong fencer and coach, Trevor was a valued member and supporter of the BAF. A Mass and funeral will take place in Croydon on Tuesday 14th May. His widow, Frances, requests no flowers but donations to Macmillan Cancer. The Prep department for St Albans High School for Girls is looking for a fencing coach. More details here. Rory High - Aberdeen Welsh Fencing and the British Academy of Fencing have agreed to join forces in the delivery of a mutually agreed package of coach education and qualification of coaches throughout Wales.
