Just been watching the Olympic fencing. Sorry but I was appalled at the lack of technique. Wild slashing parries and jabbing attacks. Seems it is all about who is the fastest.
I was a Povost member in the 60s and 70s so maybe I am an old fogey, but I do not think the sport has improved for the better. Sorry
